This Constable Round Door Knob is a beautiful example of a simple Victorian style. Although more traditionally found in Victorian period properties, the elegant design will suit many home styles, including more contemporary properties.

The covered rose provides a lovely neat finish and it is shown here in Light Aged Brass.

Made by the boutique British manufacturer, BrassArt, who has been making fine handcrafted brass furnishings since 1935. They use long established hand crafting techniques so that each of their pieces is truly stunning and of the highest quality. Each piece is cast, forged or machined from solid brass before being hand finished or electroplated.

The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more.

Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.

Living Finishes

Polished Brass Unlacquered, Satin Brass Unlacquered

Intially this finish will have either a highly polished, reflective surface, or a soft brushed matt surface. Once installed touch, time and environment will lead to gradual wear and oxidisation, thus imparting charm and elegance.

Plated Finishes

Polished Chrome, Polished Copper, Polished Nickel, Polished Silver, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel

These electroplated finishes are used for both decorative and practical purposes. We apply a thin layer of metal our brass substrate which ensures protection of the base metal and excellent resistance to corrosion and the elements.

Special Finishes - Lacquered

Antique Nickel, Antique Silver, Bronze Metal Antique, Dark Antique Brass, Light Antique Brass, Light Antique Copper, Medium Antique Brass, Medium Antique Copper

These special finishes are applied over a brass base and then are finished with Matt Stove Lacquer. This clear, protective coating minimises the need for frequent polishing and cleaning while offering significantly greater durability than standard air-drying lacquers.
