This versatile Indicator Bolt is a neat and simple design. It is perfect for Bathroom doors, WC doors or changing rooms to name a few. Its function is to allow privacy by a simple slide bolt that displays Vacant or Engaged on the outside of the door. There is also an emergency release on the outside part, which makes it particularly suitable for areas used by children and the elderly. Whereas regular Bathroom Privacy Turns require a Tubular Mortice deadbolt, this doesnt. The back slide bolt connects to the front indicator and the bolt slides into a keep which is attached to the door frame. Simple and easy to fit!

Made from premium quality brass and handcrafted for us in the West Midlands, using both traditional methods and modern manufacturing processes.

Supplied with all the necessary fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Living Finishes

Polished Brass Unlacquered, Satin Brass Unlacquered

Intially this finish will have either a highly polished, reflective surface, or a soft brushed matt surface. Once installed touch, time and environment will lead to gradual wear and oxidisation, thus imparting charm and elegance.

Aged Brass, Antique Brass, Light Antique Brass, Smoked Brass, Carbon, Distressed Carbon, Midnight Carbon, Autumn Bronze, Matt Black Bronze, Tudor Bronze, Real Bronze Metal Antique

Normal wear and handling will allow the contact areas to reveal the metal below helping to create an aged effect. These living finishes receive a protective wax coating prior to despatch and an occasional application of a good beeswax polish can be applied if required.

Plated Finishes

Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Pearl Nickel

These electroplated finishes are used for both decorative and practical purposes. We apply a thin layer of metal our brass substrate which ensures protection of the base metal and excellent resistance to corrosion and the elements.

Special Finishes - Lacquered

Antique Nickel, Dark Bronze Metal Antique, Deep English Bronze, English Bronze, Zero Black

These special finishes are applied over a brass base and then are finished with either a Matt or Gloss Lacquer. This clear, protective coating minimises the need for frequent polishing.
