This External Beeswax Bathroom Thumbturn is a simple, traditional design, so will suit many types of properties.
The thumbturn is designed to be used with either a Tubular Deadbolt or a Bathroom Sashlock.
The turn part locates inside the bathroom or WC and the emergency release is situated on the outside of the door, this provides a safety mechanism in case a person gets stuck or falls unwell and is unable to get out by themselves. This is particularly useful in homes with young children.
The Thumbturn is supplied with a 5mm spindle and matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
