These beautiful Burcot Swirl Nickel Door Knobs are cast from solid brass to create a faithful period reproduction. The swirl design twists round the door knob and finishes with a raised point. The stepped concealed rose, hides the fixings giving the door knobs are really neat and elegant finish.
Although more commonly found in Edwardian period properties, because of their neat shape and size they sit very nicely in many cottage style properties where a touch of flamboyance is desired!
Cast from solid brass and then nickel plated for a highly polished finish. The Burcot Swirl Nickel Door Knobs are suitable for mortice locks and latches only. There is a sub-rose that is secured to the door and then the door knob with the stepped rose attaches to this securely concealing the fixings.
The door knobs are Unsprung, so we recommend that you use Heavy Sprung lock or latch. So that you don't catch you hand on the door frame we also recommend that you use a lock or latch which is at least 100mm, to give you a backset of 75mm or more.
Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
