Pewter Door Knobs

Real Pewter door, window and cabinet furniture is made from the highest quality, lead free genuine Pewter, which contains a minimum of 92% Tin. This produces a warm and tactile feel which looks simply stunning. Incredibly hard wearing and easy to maintain too!

Hand Forged and Antique Pewter finishes can vary between manufacturer and this is usually down to the base metal that has been used for the door knob. Some are Bronze and some are Steel, so the process of creating the Pewter finish is different. Our forged range of door knobs have markings where the blacksmith has hand finished each piece and the Pewter on these has a heavy silvery tone to them. Antique Pewter has a smoother finish with a slightly darker tone and the Pewter Bronze is the darkest finish with a deep grey gunmetal tone.
