There are also 2 sizes to choose from, Small being particularly suitable for internal doors and the Large giving a real statement to front doors and oversized doors.

Designed for use with either mortice or rim locks, this set comes complete with a pair of knobs and two open escutcheons. The loose roses are fixed with concealed screws to improve appearance and the knob is secured using a GRUB screw, which must locate in the the 'V' on the shaft and not the threaded part of the spindle. The spindle supplied will accommodate a door, or door and rim lock thickness of up to 60mm max.

Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.

Beeswax – is the most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish. These products offer excellent internal protection when properly maintained. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.

Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.

Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.

Black - For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.

Beeswax - To ensure the finish on your beeswax product always remains at its best, we would advise re-coating your product with a good quality natural beeswax from time to time. This adds further protection to the metal and helps to prevent any rust or white blooms forming. Due to temperature changes or packaging, a beeswax product may occasionally show signs of a white bloom upon opening. This can be buffed with a soft cloth to remove.  We would recommend using our external beeswax in areas of your property with high moisture content, such as bathrooms or kitchens. Light surface rust may appear if using our standard beeswax in damp internal environments, but this can be removed with ease.

The door knobs are Unsprung, so we recommend that you use Heavy Duty / Heavy Sprung lock or latch. So that you don't catch you hand on the door frame we also recommend that you use a lock or latch which is at least 100mm, to give you a backset of 75mm or more.
