This Polished Brass Universal Bolt is a multi purpose bolt which can be used on windows, doors and other applications due to the variety of keeps supplied. Available in a choice of 4" or 6". The bolt is supplied with a Receiver Bridge, Receiver Plate and an Angled Keep making it suitable for both inward and outward opening doors and windows.
Polished Brass - made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues which offer a depth of reflection. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish using a dry cloth and some Brasso.
Note - An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the product from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. For persistent marks the use of a good quality metal polish can be used. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
