The Aged Brass Elmore door knobs have been reproduced from a classic Regency design. As with the original the Elmore feature a concealed sub-rose that is then finished with a truly elegant threaded brass rose that conceals all fixings.
Although more commonly found in Georgian or Regency properties, the simplicity of this design makes the door handle suitable for many property types.
The brass is unlacquered and has been lightly hand aged to accentuate the small amount of detail to the knob and is highly polished for an elegant finish. The brass will continue to age with time and develop a lovely, rich patina. If you prefer you may polish them time and time again to create and maintain a highly polished finish.
The Aged Brass Elmore door knobs are suitable for Mortice locks and latches only. As they are Unsprung, so we recommend that you use Heavy Duty / Heavy Sprung lock or latch. So that you don't catch you hand on the door frame we also recommend that you use a lock or latch which is at least 100mm, to give you a backset of 75mm or more.
Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
