This neat and stylish Aged Bronze Flush Sash Stop has been designed to restrict the movement of your sash window. Fitted to the frame/box it prevents the sash from being opened past that point. This is ideal for windows on upper floors where children may be left unattended, offering you a little extra peace of mind and security, or they allow the sash to be opened for ventilation without compromising on security. Drill the barrel into the sash frame and fit the strike plate to the sash to prevent damage. It matches perfectly with our Traditional Sash Fasteners, Lifts and Box Sash Pulleys.
Aged Bronze - this finish is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal results in a very dark, rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacture a durable, matt lacquer is applied to help preserve the distinctive tones
Note - Do not use metal polish or other chemical cleaners as this will result in finish breaking down prematurely. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Due to the matt lacquer coating this finish isn’t suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
Sold in individually and supplied with matching fixings and a hex key. If you want to fit a sash stop on each side of the frame you will need to order 2 per window.
The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
