This Aged Bronze Shaped Beehive Escutcheon is a lovely Victorian inspired piece. Cast from solid bronze it has a beautiful, tactile feel.
The cover is a classic beehive design and is used to decoratively cover the keyhole and help keep debris and draughts out.
This escutcheon will complement many different styles of door knob.
Aged Bronze - this finish is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal results in a very dark, rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacture a durable, matt lacquer is applied to help preserve the distinctive tones
Please do not use any metal polish or other cleaning chemicals on this finish as it will affect the lacquer and finish. Wiping with an oily cloth after installation and from time to time will aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Due to the matt lacquer coating this finish isn’t suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
Sold individually - not in pairs. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
