This Art Nouveau Finger Plate is a truly spectacular copy of an original from the classic 1880 - 1910 period. Art Nouveau is an inspirational, forward thinking period, basing many of its ideas on the natural world. This piece is no exception, featuring a beautiful stylised flower with buds and seedpods.
It has also been reproduced true to the original, by being stamped out of a solid brass plate. The Art Nouveau Finger Plate is available in two finishes, Aged Brass or Polished Nickel.
Aged Brass - the brass is left unlacquered and then hand aged which will continue to develop a mature patina over time.
Polished Nickel - the brass is nickel plated for a highly polished finish.
These finger plates can be used on either side of the door above your door knobs, or on the opposite side of the door to a pull handle.
They are sold individually and supplied with fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
