The design for these Arts and Crafts Door Bolts was taken from an original piece (circa 1902). It was recovered from an expansive Victorian property in Wolverhampton that was owned by the Mander family, founders of Mander paints. This beautiful design would enhance any door or entrance as well as providing extra security.
These Arts and Crafts Door Bolts are available in two sizes, Small (150mm) and Large (272mm). You also have the choice of two finishes.
Aged Brass - the brass is left unlacquered and then hand aged which will continue to develop a mature patina over time.
Aged Nickel - the brass is nickel plated and then hand aged to really highlight the character and expression of this piece.
These bolts have a spring loaded, ball bearing mechanism to provide a firm fix. They come with a matching staple / keep. If the bolt is to be received into the door frame we sell a seperate locating plate to cover the hole. Please see separate listing.
Supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
