These Blacksmith Black Letter Plates and matching Letter Plate Covers are available in two sizes, Large and Small. They can be bought individually or together as a set.The letter plate is sprung loaded and both sizes are heavy duty.The letter plate cover is lightweight and easy to fit. It helps to reduce draughts and improve the appearance of the inside of the door, covering up the letter plate bolts.
Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements. For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.
