This Black Locking Cremone Bolt is based on a traditional, french styled door and window bolt. The simple Oval shaped door knob operates the two surface bolts, allowing the door or window to be opened easily in one action. The internal Centre Case has an additional grub screw locking mechanism, allowing the bolts to be locked into place for added security.

This bolt is supplied, as standard, for internal use only. But if you require access from both sides you can choose to purchase the set with an additional External Door Knob. Please note - the external door knob will only allow the bolt to be operated if the grub screw lock is not engaged. You cannot unscrew the grub screw from the outside.

Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.

Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements. For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.

Supplied with guide blocks, a range of keeps and matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill. You will need to trim the rods to size to fit your door or window.
