These period Brass Bloxwich Door Knobs are turned from a solid brass bar to create a faithful reproduction of a very elegant design. Although more commonly found in Georgian/Regency period properties, because of their neat shape and size they sit very nicely in many cottage style properties too.
They are suitable to used with both mortice or rim locks and latches. The roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw.
The door knobs are Unsprung, so we recommend that you use Heavy Sprung lock or latch. So that you don't catch you hand on the door frame we also recommend that you use a lock or latch which is at least 100mm, to give you a backset of 75mm or more.
We also sell a range of Escutcheons which complement these door knobs.
Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
