This Brass or Chrome Casement Hook Plate is used for flush fitting windows without a central mullion. It is fitted with the "opening pointing down". Available in Polished Chrome or Polished Brass, it matches perfectly with our Brass or Chrome Peardrop Window Fasteners.
Polished Brass - the finish is left Unlacquered so that over time it develops a rich, natural patina. The brass can be brightened by using Brasso (or a similar product), if required.
Polished Chrome - a highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. Made from brass before being chrome plated, gives this finish very good anti-tarnish qualities. Chrome is similar to polished nickel, but has a slight blue hue to the colour. We recommend that it is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time, this is to remove harmful deposits and maintain its original condition.Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

As with atmospheric conditions, high use, commercial environments will also cause finishes to deteriorate prematurely. Read our Care Instructions for details on how to look after your products in these environments.
