The Cromwell Lever Range has a 'Tudor' style backplate with hand finished edges. They have a slighlty flattened and triangular shaped handle that will suit both contemporary homes and country houses alike. Available in Black or Pewter.
Other than the Espagnolette Lock, the handles have a strong spring incorporated into the stylish boss design to give both funtionality and elegance. The Espagnolette Lock version has the same long backplate and is to be used with multi point locks. The handle is not sprung and allows for upward (locking) movement of the handle, but still incorporates the detailed Cromwell design. Will fit all standard British locks and all Cromwells come complete with both traditional screws and bolt through fixings to suit your preference. If using the Euro or Espagnolette handle please check the centres measurement of your Euro Lock or Mulitpoint Lock as they can vary between manufacturers. Mortice Sashlocks and Latches are generally a standard 57mm centres.
Suitable for internal or external use and sold as a set.
Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.
Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
Black - For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.
