This Aged Bronze Prestbury Front Door Set is a lovely example of Regency / Georgian styling. Although the classic designs will suit many other types of period home.
Aged Bronze - this finish is manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. The process used to age the metal results in a very dark, rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacture a durable, matt lacquer is applied to help preserve the distinctive tones
Please do not use any metal polish or other cleaning chemicals on this finish as it will affect the lacquer and finish. Wiping with an oily cloth after installation and from time to time will aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Due to the matt lacquer coating this finish isn’t suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
The Centre Door Pull has a simple bolt through fixing is used to simply pull the door closed, it does not operate a latch.
The Letter Plate and Tidy set is a good size and will accept A4 post.
The Doctor's Knocker is slim, with a good projection and fixes with 2 fixing bolts.
