This Doctors Knocker is based on a classic early Georgian style knocker. So called, because it was used to identify the home of a doctor or physician in times gone by.
Forged in solid brass it is available in two finishes, Polished Brass or Polished Nickel.
Polished Brass - the brass is left unlacquered so that over time it develops a warm, rich patina.
Polished Nickel - the brass is nickel plated to give a highly polished shine.
Supplied with a circular strike plate and all relevant fixings - fixing bolt supplied is 70mm long. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
