Our Ebony Beehive Escutcheon is a beautifully crafted Victorian style escutcheon. The beehive cover is made from solid ebony, giving it a truly wonderful look and feel. It polishes to a superb lustrous finish and unlike other hardwoods is excellent for achieving fine detailing when turned. They are available in 2 finishes, Polished Brass or Polished Nickel.
Polished Brass - thef inish is left Unlacquered so that over time it develops a rich, natural patina. The brass can be brightened by using Brasso (or a similar product), if required.
Polished Nickel - is plated over solid brass to provide a durable and shiny surface.
These escutcheons are used to decoratively cover the keyhole and help keep debris out. Our Ebony Beehive Escutcheon is a perfect match for our real Ebony Door Knobs.
Sold individually - not in pairs. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
