These neat and stylish Key Flush Sash Stops have been designed to restrict the movement of your sash window. Fitted to the frame/box they prevent the sash from being opened past that point. This is ideal for windows on upper floors where children may be left unattended, offering you a little extra peace of mind and security, or they allow the sash to be opened for ventilation without compromising on security. Drill the barrel into the sash frame and fit the strike plate to the sash to prevent damage. Available in Polished Brass or Polished Chrome, they match perfectly with our Traditional Sash Fasteners, Lifts and Box Sash Pulleys.
Polished Brass - the finish is left Unlacquered so that over time it develops a rich, natural patina. The brass can be brightened by using Brasso (or a similar product), if required.
Polished Chrome - made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired.
Note – Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as it may affect the plated finish. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the product from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. For persistent marks the use of a good quality metal polish for silver finishes can used. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Sold in individually and supplied with matching fixings and a hex key. If you want to fit a sash stop on each side of the frame you will need to order 2 per window.
The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.Key Flush Sash Stops
