These Blacksmith Pewter Letter Plates and matching Letter Plate Covers are available in two sizes, Large and Small. They can be bought individually or together as a set. The letter plate is sprung loaded and both sizes are heavy duty. The letter plate cover is lightweight and easy to fit. It helps to reduce draughts and improve the appearance of the inside of the door, covering up the letter plate bolts.
Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
