The Pewter Monkey Tail Levers on Backplates have a very distinctive monkey tail handle that is drawn from a single piece of steel. A traditional design, with exquisite detailing, particularly suited to rustic or country style houses.
Lock Handle - for use with traditional mortice sashlocks
Latch Handle - for use with a latch on an internal door, where no key is required.
Privacy Handle - this has a built in Bathroom Turn and Emergency Release and is used in conjunction with a Bathroom Sashlock, or Tubular Latch and Tubular Deadbolt.
These lever handles are unsprung and so we recommend using a Heavy Duty or Heavy Sprung lock or latch. Will fit all standard British locks and all of our Monkey Tail handles come complete with both traditional screws and bolt through fixings to suit your preference.
Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
Sold as a set and supplied with fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
