This Polished Bronze Newbury Front Door Set is really stunning, with an Edwardian / Deco style to the design. Although its sheer elegance would beautiful on many styles of home.
Polished Bronze – manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. During the final stages of manufacturing, a robust lacquer is applied to help preserve this bright contrast.
Note - Do not use metal polish or other chemical cleaners as this will result in finish breaking down prematurely. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Due to the lacquer coating this finish isn’t suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
The Lever Lock Handles are available for use with either a standard Mortice Lock or a more modern Euro Profile Cylinder. As these door handles are sprung they can be used with both standard and heavy sprung locks and latches. We would usually recommend a lock or latch size up to 80mm, otherwise the handle is positioned too far away from the edge of the door.
The smaller Letter Plate and Tidy is perfect for doors where space is a premium.
The Deco Knocker is striking and sits beautifully on the centre stile. It fixes with 2 fixing bolts.

Door Handles are supplied as a Pair with a spindle and everything is supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
