A simple and stylish Polished Bronze Newbury Stay designed to fit casement windows. Available in 3 sizes making them perfect for the majority of windows.
This lovely window stay is made from solid bronze, before being hand finished and is designed to match the Newbury Door Handles in the range. There is also a regular Casement Fastener and Night Vent Fastener to match.
Polished Bronze – manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. During the final stages of manufacturing, a robust lacquer is applied to help preserve this bright contrast.
Note - Do not use metal polish or other chemical cleaners as this will result in finish breaking down prematurely. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Due to the lacquer coating this finish isn’t suitable for high traffic areas or coastal locations.
Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
