This Round Art Deco Thumbturn is available in Matt Black. It is a simple and contemporary design so will compliment many types of properties, period styles and contemporary homes alike. The thumbturn is designed to be used with either a Tubular Deadbolt or a Bathroom Sashlock. The turn part locates inside the bathroom or WC and the emergency release is situated on the outside of the door, this provides a safety mechanism in case a person gets stuck or falls unwell and is unable to get out by themselves. This is particularly useful in homes with young children.
Our Round Bathroom Thumbturn is supplied with a 5mm spindle and matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
Matt Black – forged from a base of solid steel and then baked in a high temperature oven to create a subtle, black patina. This refined finish is extremely versatile, with a distinct contemporary feel that works especially well in modern interiors.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
