The Shakespeare Latch Set is hand-crafted and is a real elegant piece. Available in either Black or Pewter.
A latch set for one side of your door or gate and ring turn handle for the other side. Both the Black and Pewter Finishes can be used in a number of areas around the home or garden and will really add a touch of style.
Black - Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike, and this finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities. It is extremely low maintenance and perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.
Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
Black - For any minor scratches that may occur with general wear and tear of your product, there is a durable ‘Black Touch Up Paint’ available – please contact us.
This set comes complete with two handles and an 8mm spindle long enough for a 3" door or gate thickness. Sold as a set and supplied with fixings.The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
