These Paumelle Ball Race Lift Off Hinges are a solid brass hinge, and are designed for use with medium weight flush doors. The top half of the hinge lifts off making it easier to remove the door from the frame.
These Lift Off hinges are handed and must be specified to operate in either a clockwise closing or an anti-clockwise closing direction. The leaf with the pin in the upwards position must be fitted to the frame. Hinge operation is either clockwise closing or anti-clockwise closing and should be specified using the ISO 5 clockwise closing and ISO 6 anti-clockwise closing convention. Please see the diagram above and check carefully that you are ordering the correct handing for your door - the hinges are made to order and are non-returnable.

There are a number of Finial Styles to choose from, at a supplement depending on finish starting from £22.30 - please contact us if you wish to order with finial.
These hinges are sold as a SINGLE HINGE (not in pairs) and we supply them with matching screws. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
