This Traditional Oval Turn and Release is a more modern design that allows for a good grip. This makes it particularly suitable for children and the elderly.
The Privacy Turn is designed to be used with either a Tubular Deadbolt or a Bathroom Sashlock. The turn part locates inside the bathroom or WC and the emergency release is situated on the outside of the door, this provides a safety mechanism in case a person gets stuck or falls unwell and is unable to get out by themselves. This is particularly useful in homes with young children.
Available in 6 finishes:
Matt Antique Brass - has golden undertones and brown hues with a modern matt finish.
Polished Brass Unlacquered - a stunning living finish which is highly polished to start but ages to a deep patina over time.
Polished Chrome - this chrome plating over brass, gives a smooth mirror like finish. Striking and very durable.
Polished Nickel - highly polished with a softer, silver undertone for a timeless look.
Satin Brass - softly brushed brass gives a subtle gold that offers an understated, elegance look and feel.
Urban Dark Bronze - a matt, dark chocolate finish over brass, gives this a softer contemporary look.
Matt Antique Brass, Satin Brass and Urban Dark Bronze have a coating of lacquer, so do not use any type of metal polish or abrasive cleaner. If cleaning is required use a mild soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth.
Supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
