This stylish Traditional Sash Lift is a plain a simple design, so will suit many types of home. Available in Polished Brass or Polished Chrome, it matches perfectly with our Traditional Sash Fasteners and Box Sash Pulleys. It is fitted to the bottom of a sash window to help when lifting them open. They are usually fitted in pairs.
Polished Brass - made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues which offer a depth of reflection. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish using a dry cloth and some Brasso.
Polished Chrome - made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired.
Note – Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as it may affect the plated finish. An oily cloth can be used to wipe over the product from time to time to remove any harmful deposits that build up on the surface of your product, this will also aid protection against any environmental elements. For persistent marks the use of a good quality metal polish for silver finishes can used. Oiling moving parts during installation and periodically afterwards will help to aid protection against exterior and environmental elements.
Sold individually and supplied with matching fixings and a hex key. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
