This White Crackle Porcelain Escutcheon is in a simple Victorian style with a subtle crackle glaze. They were typically used on the upper floors of Victorian homes, in servants quarters or smaller, more modest properies because they were a cheaper alternative to brass.
Suitable for use on interior doors only
Pressed brass backplate, with a porcelain cover, used to provide a decorative cover to the key hole and help to keep out draughts too!
Sold individually - not in pairs. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
