The Regency Brass Rim Latch is traditional dual handed thumb latch. Cast from solid brass, each latch is hand finished. The brass is not lacquered and has been hand aged and would normally be left to age in the traditional manner.
The Regency Brass Rim Latch allows the room to be locked from one side only, ideal for bathrooms and bedrooms where privacy is required. Supplied with an optional Emergency Release fitting, this allows access from outside of the room. If using the Emergency Release fitting we recommend matching the Regency Brass Rim Latch with the Small Cottage knobs. This is so that your hand doesn't interfere or catch on the emergency release fitment when opening and closing the door.
Supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
