This striking Black or Pewter Ring Door Knocker shows a true masterpiece of forging and has been drawn from one piece of mild steel bar, bent to form the imposing ring. This design shows every hammer blow by thehighly skilled blacksmiths and has a large fixing plate
The traditional satin Blackfinish is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it an attractive, durable and corrosion-resistant finish. The finish is low maintenance when used internally, if used externally it will require more. In all cases we do recommend that it is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth periodically. This will help to remove surface dirt and restore it back to its original condition.
The Pewter finish is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. It is equally suited to contemporary homes as well as period properties. The finish has excellent anti-corrosion properties but we do recommend that it is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth periodically. This will help to remove surface dirt and restore it back to its original condition.
Never use any form of metal cleaner or aerosol spray.
Supplied with a handmade stud and matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

Atmospheric Conditions and Coastal Areas
Harsh environmental conditions and the salt in sea air will cause finishes to deteriorate prematurely. Read our Care Instructions on how to look after your purchase, and for our guide to which finishes are more suited to these conditions.
As with atmospheric conditions, high use, commercial environments will also cause finishes to deteriorate prematurely. Read our Care Instructions for details on how to look after your products in these environments.
