These Pewter Hook and Band Hinges are incredible examples of craftsmanship, fashioned in a rustic design with a pointed arrowhead end. Heated in the forge and hammered on the anvil many times until the hinge is complete. The Pewter Hook and Band Hinges are available two sizes, a 24" or a 35" cranked. Please see below for sizes and uses.
Pewter - forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Note - Do not use chemicals or cleaning products as this may affect the finish. Regular oiling of all moving parts using is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. An oily cloth can also be used to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
Sold in pairs and supplied with fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.

24" Hook and Band Hinge - For use on heavy, external doors. The hook plate needs to be morticed into the frame, making the door in-line with the frame.

35"Hook and Band Hinge Cranked - Designed for very large, external doors. Ideal for barn or garage doors. This hinge is cranked to allow the door to be in line with the front of the frame. There is no need for the fixing plate to be morticed into the frame of the door.
